I’m Thankful For… Day 21

I’m thankful for great entertainment! I went to see Twilight last night and I didn’t even have to wait until midnight! My friend Audrey rented out a theater for an 8:00 PM show!

Some of you know that I wasn’t too impressed with the books (don’t hate me) but I just didn’t catch the fever like some of the others I know… But after seeing the movie – I think I have! I LOVED the movie. Robert Pattinson did an awesome job as Edward. And I thought Kristen Stewart was the perfect Bella. Even if you weren’t a fan of the books – go see this movie! My husband with me and even he liked it :)

I’m Thankful For… Day 15

I’m thankful for entertaining kids movies that also teach great lessons. My husband rented Kung Fu Panda: Secrets of the Furious Five last night and it was such a cute short! Since it was short, both of my kids (ages 1 & 5) sat down and watched the whole thing. What a great way to teach children (and adults!) the importance of patience, discipline, compassion, courage and confidence. There are also some cute activities for the kids on the disc. They can learn a dance or play the dumpling shuffle. We had a great time with it! Go get it!

Mamma Mia!

Last night I went to see Mamma Mia with my mom, my sis & mother-in-law, and my cousin and aunt. I thought it would be a cute movie, but I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did! The setting was gorgeous. I want to take a vacation to Greece now! All of the actors did a great job and the music was really good. It was hilarious too! I bet it was really fun to be in that movie. My favorite part of the night? Dancing in the movie theater to the closing credits and having the rest of the theater stare at us like we were crazy…because we are! Thanks for a fun night everyone!!
