What I Learned This Week
Getting sick with the stomach flu on Tuesday doesn’t help me with new blog posts (Note there isn’t a link…that’s because I didn’t post anything all week! You know I’m really sick when I don’t get on the computer)
C’mon – we don’t have to find a way to add race to everything…
The “future” is closer than we think
Aloha Friday
Kailani at An Island Life does Aloha Friday and here is what she has to say:
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My question to you is:
What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
As I watched my almost 2 year old take a giant bite out of crayon today (and thoroughly enjoy grinding it between his teeth), it made me wonder if I’m missing out on something! I haven’t eaten many strange things, but I have tried eating a sea cucumber before. It was disgusting!
Would have to b avocado Funny this I like it now
Psst how do you make that boxed out section?
Let’s see, I’m trying to think. Maybe venison. Not sure how strange that is. But only tried it once and never wanted it again.
When we were in Germany and dined in a the fanciest restaurant ever inside a castle. I had no idea what I was eating but was determined to pay for it because the meal was like $350 and a once in a lifetime experience.
honestly, i’m not a very adventurous eater. i can’t think of anything strange that i’ve eaten. lol i stick to what i know!
I’m not sure I have ever tried to eat anything non-edible. But I did try haggis in Scotland when I was 17!
